adverbs (ad - verbs)
Most adverbs are formed by adding "ly"
to the end of an adjective.
If an adjective ends in "y", change the "y"
to "i" and then add "ly."
Examples: (ex - am - ples)
The lady spoke slowly. (slow)
The man spoke happily about his wife and children.
(happy)
